- A major financial contributor in acquiring the Warren Nelson Memorial Bog tract! One of the very first land purchases by the Friends of Sax- Zim Bog from donations! Warren was my first birding mentor/friend when I moved to Brainerd MN.
- Designer of the initial bird feeding station at the SZB Welcome Center

- Guided for several "Big year" birders, Group Tours from Audubon Chapters, Tour companies, Photography Clubs, Natural Resources students and professional photographers
